![]() ![]() Edited Decemby NitroBulletīumping an old thread but I want to set things straight. It's just that the mouse threshold activates at a lower speed. But it's pointing more to mouse acceleration based on what I've tested. It could either be mouse acceleration or just simply mouse lag due to poor coding of mouse movement. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. What do you mean mouse acceleration has nothing to do with the game? Some games force mouse acceleration. Yes that includes Windows 7.Īlso I forgot to ask. All the 64 bit versions it has no effect whatsoever. ![]() Oh yea, and your registry file only works for XP and Vista 32. I'm trying to headshot someone, so I have to move the mouse slowly, but it won't move, so I have to move it a bit faster, but then it goes over the point in which I am wanting to land the headshot at. ![]() The fact that if you're in Free look, or just aiming with any weapon, moving it slow enough so that the crosshair point doesn't even move is hard to handle. Even if it is mouse acceleration, the aim shouldn't be that bad. It's still there, which implies that GTA IV's Mouse Lag or Mouse Acceleration/Smoothing is indeed forced. I've applied a stronger mouse fix on my XP drive that does a better job or eliminating mouse acceleration than a registry edit. Backup that registry key first, if you want the option to revert settings later.Īlso, being too lazy to post our PC details, like your OS is a bitch, isn't it? Imagine if people giving answers were equally lazy ![]()
